These tracks were culled from a much longer piece that I made for Opto-sonic echoes, an -8-channel continuous sound installation at the Parrish Art Museum in 2019. I used the HN6 to record directly from my Buchla Music Easel & effects with two mics positioned to capture the ambient surroundings. The clicks heard on the recording are from switching between sequence steps and frequency stages on the expander card. The recording was made outside in July of 2019. The 8-channel continuous sound installation, prepared by Michael J. Schumacher, ran continuously from August 15 - October 13, 2019, and was made up of sound pieces submitted by the Opto-sonic participants. I graciously, thank the OptoSonic Tea founders Katherine Liberovskaya and Ursula Scherrer, for the invite to participate and perform at PLATFORM, 'OptoSonic Tea @ the Parrish', Sep 27, 2019, with a large group of improvising video and sound artists interacting with the architecture and landscape of the Parrish.
